Angkor Grill, located at 1319 Park Street, officially opened on February 9. Angkor Grill is Alameda’s first Cambodian eatery, offering “a taste of Southeast Asia by the Bay.” Specialties include seafood and barbeque.
Owner/operator Ricky Doh selected Alameda for his newest restaurant because of confidence in Alameda’s Park Street Business District. “I like Alameda very much. I feel it has a good business community and good people. We are anxious to provide the community with high-quality Cambodian cuisine,” commented Mr. Doh. The Doh family has operated Phnom Penh House in Oakland’s Chinatown for over 25 years and Phnom Penh in Oakland’s Laurel District since 2004.
Angkor Grill joins a growing, vibrant restaurant scene in the Park Street District. Thanks
to the city’s Facade Assistance Program, the building that Angkor Grill is in has recently undergone a facelift with a new paint job, lighting, awning, and window trims.
Angkor Grill is open daily from 11:00am to 9:30pm, with slightly later hours Friday and Saturday.
