This year’s Park Street Spring Festival turned out to be a blast… in more ways than one. It was lots of fun AND it turned out to be a little windy during the weekend. But despite the periodic gusts, the Spring Festival still proves to be a Mother’s Day tradition in Alameda. With a weekend attendance of over 40,000 people, the mimosas were flowing as guests enjoyed a variety of arts & crafts, music, festival eats, and children’s activities.
The Park Street Business Association would like to thank all those who participated in the Spring Festival – the people who attended, the merchants who got into the spirit of the event, and all of our great volunteers. We especially would like to recognize the organizations that kept the cheer flowing at the beverage booths: Alameda Business Network, Alameda Elks, Alameda Relay For Life committee, Alameda Sun, Bank of Alameda, Bladium Sports & Fitness Club, Cerda-Zein Real Estate, CompoClay, Edward Jones Investments, Gallagher & Lindsey Realtors, Jazzercise, Kiwanis Club of Alameda, Mason Management, Rotary Club of Alameda, and US Bank.
We’d also like to thank our sponsors who helped make the event possible: Alameda Municipal Power, Alameda Magazine, ACI, Bathfitters, Comcast, Elder Services, San Francisco Chronicle, New York Times, and New York Life.
