Monkey Bars facade project is {almost} complete! Come celebrate with Heather and her staff this Friday at 5:30pm… there will be Snacks, Raffle Prizes, and Special Vendor Sales!!!

Stop by and chat with Alameda’s Mayor Marie Gilmore who will also be in attendance!

Monkey Bars is an eco-friendly store for babies, big kids, and grown-ups. In keeping with the theme of sustainability, the new facade is composed entirely of locally sourced, reclaimed wood and recycled aluminum.

The storefront design was created by Veronica Hinkley Reck of Ignition Architecture who will also be present at the reception.

Redux Studios and Gallery, Alameda CARedux 1-Year Anniversary/Artist-in-Residence Reception
Friday, October 12; 6:00-9:00pm

Please join us at Redux Studios & Gallery in celebrating our 1-year anniversary. We’ll be unveiling a new gallery show, exhibiting the work of our 2012 Artist in Residence Claudia Morales. Plus, we’ll have open studios with our Redux tenants, food prepared by our Kitchen of Champions culinary program, and special musical guests.

As always, it will be a free event open to the public. Redux is located at 2315 Licoln Ave.

Starland Music Center presents the Annual All School Recital on Saturday October 20 and Sunday 21. A two-day event featuring hour-long back-to-back recitals. Come celebrate all of our students’ musical success, and enjoy!
