Start those engines! The 20th Annual Park Street Classic Car Show takes place on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. More than 400 classic vehicles of every description will line up along Park Street between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave – antique roadsters, coupes, hot rods, muscle cars, and much more.
Most of the cars come from the magical decades of the ’50s and the ’60s, but there will also be plenty of classic muscle cars from the ’70s along with beauties from the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s. This is a show not to be missed. A national representative of the Mustang Club of America once declared Park Street’s annual Classic Car Show to be “the best that he has ever seen.”
This free event is fun for the whole family. Entertainment and prizes will be available and DJs will be spinning oldies from the ’50s and the ’60s.
Coinciding with the Park Street Classic Car Show, Alameda Bicycle (1522 Park Street) will be hosting a Classic Bike Show — show off your low rider cruiser, vintage road bike, or any other bike you deem a classic.
In addition to the cars and entertainment, many of the businesses in the Park Street Business District will be open for business. Spectators are invited to “Shop Park Street” to explore our unique selections of stores and enjoy the tasty fare of our fabulous restaurants.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Park Street Classic Car Show, limited edition pins and t-shirts will be available while supplies last. Pins are only $5 and t-shirts are only $12. You’ll find them at the PSBA information booth (located the corner of Park Street & Santa Clara Ave), Lee Auto Supply, and other locations during the event. If you miss the show or forget to purchase one of these special collector’s items, check the PSBA website for availability after the show.
The Park Street Classic Car Show is hosted by the Crankers Car Club and is sponsored in part by PSBA business members Lee Auto Supply / NAPA Auto Parts (1525 Park Street) and Alameda Collision Repair (1911 Park Street). Without their incredible dedication to the show, this annual event would never get off the ground. We congratulate them on 20 wonderful years!
So come on down to Park Street to enjoy the annual Classic Car Show, plus a whole lot more… get in some shopping at stores you won’t find in any mall, eat your way through our 50+ restaurants, test your skills at mini golf or classic video games, and catch a movie while you’re at it. Free secure bike valet will be provided.

Grand Opening Exhibition: Transported
A special artists’ exhibit titled “Transported” will be on display at the newly opened Gary Francis Fine Art Gallery (1419 Park Street). The inaugural exhibition coincides with the Park Street Classic Car Show and celebrates our love of cars, trains, motorcycles, bikes, and other modes that transport us physically and figuratively.
The contemporary fine art gallery focuses on the exhibition and sale of fine art ceramics, glass, painting, printmaking, and sculpture of emerging artists working in the San Francisco Bay Area. The distinctive art pieces that have been hand-selected for this exhibit will delight auto enthusiasts, as well as joyriders and travelers of all sorts. “Transported” will be on display through November 3.
Special Invitation: Join Gary and Kavita Comoglio, along with many of the talented artists, for opening night on Friday, October 11, 6:00-9:00pm. The reception is being held in conjunction with the Second Friday Art Walk held in Alameda and Oakland.
