Spring has finally sprung! Get ready for the 14th annual Park Street Spring Festival — a Mother’s Day weekend tradition in Alameda and the San Francisco Bay Area. The ever popular street fair takes place in Downtown Alameda’s Historic Park Street District on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.
The Park Street Spring Festival has something for everyone… over 150 art and craft vendors, live music on two stages, plenty of food vendors, some beer & wine sales, and a special kids’ area. Plus, take a stroll through Alameda’s destination shopping district to discover its unique variety of charming shops, antique stores, and top-rated eateries.
The Park Street Spring Festival is fun for the entire family. Don’t miss it!
Arts & Crafts Vendors… Stroll among 150 arts and craft booths with items ranging from ceramics and metal art to paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more.
Live Entertainment… Each day offers continuous live entertainment on two stages. Bay Area favorites will perform classic rock, bluegrass, jazz, and soul. This year’s event features a terrific line-up of crowd-pleasing tribute bands: Petty Theft, Zebop! Tribute to Santana, AjaVu, Stealin’ Chicago, and Fleetwood Mask. Local bands include Ben Luis Group and The Mighty Neptunes. (view the 2014 music schedule)
Festival Food & Drink… Satisfy your taste buds with a great selection of festival favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, fried calamari, roasted corn, teriyaki chicken, beef skewers, funnel cakes, and more! Kids’ Area… A special area for kids and their families on Alameda Avenue features bounce houses, slot cars, face painting, a climbing wall, and more. Back this year… kids can experience the thrill of walking and rolling on water with WaterBallerz!
Ride Your Bike to the Festival… Free, secure bike parking will be available near Alameda Bicycle at the corner of Webb Avenue. There couldn’t be a better way to experience the festival than before or after a pleasant ride along the charming streets of Alameda.
