30th Annual Park Street Art & Wine Faire in Alameda — Fun for Everyone!

Park Street Art & Wine Faire 2014The Park Street Business Association is proud to bring the 30th Annual Park Street Art & Wine Faire to Alameda on July 26 & 27. Enjoy the summer sun at one of Alameda’s biggest and best events of the year! And, of course, this year promises to be even bigger and better.

Voted “Best Event in Alameda” each year, festival-goers can stroll along Alameda’s vibrant and historic downtown district and enjoy arts, crafts, and food vendors; local wines and regional beers; live music on two stages; and a special kids’ play area. Event hours run from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.

Arts & Crafts… Stroll among the 250 arts and craft booths located between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave. Vendors will be offering items ranging from ceramics and metal art to paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more. 

Zebop! Tribute to SantanaLive Entertainment… Each day offers continuous live entertainment on two stages as Bay Area favorites perform classic rock, bluegrass, funk, jazz, and soul. This year’s featured line-up includes popular tribute bands The Sun Kings (The Beatles), Night Moves (Bob Seger), Petty Theft (Tom Petty), Fleetwood Mask (Fleetwood Mac), AjaVu (Steely Dan), Stealin’ Chicago (Chicago), and Zebop! Kids’ Area… A special area for kids and their families features bounce houses, games, carnival rides, slot cars, face painting, and that incredibly wacky attraction… Waterballerz!

Food at Park Street Art & wine Faire, AlamedaFestival Food… Satisfy your taste buds with a festive selection of street favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, gyros, roasted corn, fried calamari, funnel cakes, and more!

Beer & Wine… For the adults, we’ll have four beverage booths pouring regional beers and wines, plus mimosas. And since Alameda is known for its fabulous vintners, we are proud to feature Rock Wall Wines at a special premium booth. Look for Rock Wall’s own rockin’ staff to be pouring a selection of their award-winning wines.

Rock Wall Wine CompanyRide Your Bike to the Festival… Free, secure bike parking will be provided near the corner of Park Street and Webb Avenue. There couldn’t be a better way to experience the festival than after a pleasant ride along the charming streets of Alameda.

Shop Park Street… In addition to all the activity on the streets, we encourage you to take the time and visit the local shops and restaurants. The merchants in Downtown Alameda are open for business and have terrific merchandise, fabulous food, and great customer service. Many of them are even running specials in conjunction with the street fair.

Park Street Art & Wine Faire vendorThe Park Street Art & Wine Faire is a dog-friendly event. The official watering station is located in front of Alameda See Spot Run, located at 2510 Santa Clara Ave. In addition, they will have two manufacturer’s reps onsite giving out free pet supply samples.

We’d like to take a moment to thank the volunteer organizations who will be serving as your friendly bartenders this weekend. We’d also like to thank our commercial sponsors for making this event possible. Our annual events mean a great deal to the Park Street Business Association. Proceeds from the street events are used to promote our shopping district both on and off the island and to maintain Alameda’s historic Park Street Business District as the vibrant downtown we all love.
