This week’s happenings in the Park Street Business District: View Calendar
The annual Downtown Alameda Spring Festival takes place this weekend! People enjoy coming out for the music, the food, the kids’ area, the craft beer and regional wine sales, and the terrific selection of gifts for Mom.
The FREE street fair features over 150 vendors in the street along with a unique selection of independent shops and eateries in the heart of Downtown Alameda’s historic Park Street Business District. No wonder Mom likes to attend this event! Maybe you would like to treat her to a mimosa and lunch at one of the district’s savory food establishments.
But the festival isn’t just for Mom. It’s fun for everyone!
Each day offers live entertainment on two different stages. Take your pick as some of the best Bay Area musicians perform everything from bluegrass to classic rock, and from fusion jazz to funk. This year’s line-up also features some of the region’s most popular tribute bands. See the schedule posted below for times and locations.
How about treating yourself to some eats, drinks, and shopping galore? Many of the businesses will be offering weekend specials for savvy festival-goers. Check out our sample list of specials and make plans to step inside the businesses and take a look around.
Don’t miss the Downtown Alameda Spring Festival!
