Here’s an event you don’t want to miss… Downtown Alameda’s 32nd Annual Art & Wine Faire will be held the weekend of July 30-31 on Park Street, with activities scheduled from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.
The annual street fair is free to the public and offers something for everyone. You’ll find over 300 arts, crafts, and food vendors up and down the street; a terrific selection of craft beers and local wines; live music on two stages; and a special kids’ area. While strolling around Alameda’s vibrant and historic commercial district, festival-goers can also find unique shops and restaurants that will be offering event specials throughout the weekend.
Enjoy the summer sun at one of Alameda’s biggest and best events of the year!
Arts & Crafts… Stroll among the 260+ art and craft booths located on Park Street. You’ll find handcrafted ceramics, metal art, paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more.
Food & Drink… Satisfy your taste buds with festival favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, gyros, roasted corn, fried calamari, funnel cakes, and more! For the 21+ crowd, there will be multiple beverage booths serving craft beers by Alameda Island Brewing Company and local wines by Rock Wall Wines.
Live Entertainment… Enjoy continuous live entertainment on two stages as Bay Area favorites perform classic rock, bluegrass, funk, jazz, and soul. This year’s line-up will feature some of the best tribute bands from the 70’s and 80’s: True Covers, Joyride, Life in the Fast Lane, Long Train Running, and Zebop! Tribute to Santana. (2016 Music Schedule)
Kids’ Area… A special area for kids and their families will be set up on Alameda Ave with bounce houses, carnival rides, slot cars, puppet shows, face painting, bunjee jumping, and that wacky attraction… Waterballerz!
Free Bike Parking… Free, secure bike parking will be available near the corner of Park Street and Webb Avenue. There couldn’t be a better way to experience the festival than after a pleasant ride along the charming streets of Alameda.
