Don’t miss Downtown Alameda’s 16th Annual Spring Festival! The two-day street fair brings arts, crafts, music, craft beer, regional wines, and a whole lot of fun to Downtown Alameda!
This year’s FREE street fair will be held May 7 and May 8 on Park Street. Hours run from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.
With over 150 street vendors and more than 50 retail shops, this is a perfect place to find a gift for Mother’s Day. Or maybe you would like to bring Mom for a mimosa and lunch at one of the downtown district’s many restaurants.
There’s certainly something for everyone at Downtown Alameda’s Spring Festival…
Arts & Crafts… Stroll among 150 arts and craft booths featuring handcrafted items ranging from ceramics and metal art to paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more.
Live Music… This year’s line-up features a range of music styles on two stages, including some of the Bay Area’s most popular tribute bands: Life in the Fast Lane (Eagles), Long Train Running (The Doobie Brothers), Joyride (The Cars), and Zebop! Tribute to Santana.
Kids’ Area… A special area for kids and their families on Alameda Avenue features bounce houses, slot cars, climbing walls, giant slides, facepainting, and WaterBallerz! Kids and adults alike will have fun listening to local children’s dou The Dilly Dallies. In addition, students from New Style Motherlode Dance will take a turn on the main stage to show off the latest hip hop moves and modern dance styles.
Festival Food… Satisfy your taste buds with a great selection of festival favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, gyros, fried calamari, teriyaki chicken, tamales, beef skewers, funnel cakes, and more! Premium vinegars and gourmet fudge will also be available for purchase.
Beer & Wine… Quench your thirst at one of the three booths serving local craft beer, regional wines, and bubbly mimosas. This year’s featured beer provider is local brewer Alameda Island Brewing Company. Look for signature flavors such as Cavanaugh Kolsch, Neptune’s Pale Ale, and Alameda’s IPA at each of the beverage stations.
Discover Downtown Alameda… Stroll through Alameda’s historic downtown business district to explore the wonderful variety of shops and restaurants.
