Classic Car Show 2012 Revs Up Park Street in Alameda

Get set for the 19th Annual Park Street Classic Car Show! More than 400 classic vehicles will be on display in Alameda’s historic downtown district on Saturday, October 13. The free event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm and is fun for the whole family. Food and prizes will be available, and DJs will be spinning oldies from the ’50s and the ’60s.

Classic cars of every description will line Park Street in Alameda’s historic downtown district between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave — Roadsters, Coupes, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, and Antique Trucks; Fords, Chevy’s, and Pontiacs; Corvettes, Impalas, Mustangs, and Model T’s. Most of the cars come from those magical decades — the ’50s and the ’60s. But there will also be a number of vintage classics from the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s, and plenty of muscle cars from the ’70s.

Spring Festival 2012

12th Annual Park Street Spring Festival (May 12 & 13)

The Park Street Spring Festival has become a Mother’s Day weekend tradition in Alameda and the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 150 vendors on the street and plenty of unique shops in the Park Street Business District, this is a perfect place to find a gift for Mom. Or maybe you would like to treat Mom to a mimosa and lunch at one of the district’s great food establishments.

The Park Street Spring Festival is fun for the whole family! Weekend activities at the Alameda street fair include art and craft vendors, live music, kids’ area, food vendors, and beer & wine sales. The street festival runs from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days. The Park Street Spring Festival is held in May each year on Mother’s Day weekend.

28th Annual Park Street Art & Wine Faire (July 28 & 29)

The Park Street Art & Wine Faire is our most popular event, attracting over 100,000 people to the Park Street Business District. Enjoy the summer sun along with 300 art, craft, and food vendors; two music stages; a kids’ area with petting zoo; and four wine and beer booths. You can also take advantage of the great shopping deals within the Alameda’s vibrant downtown area. The weekend street festival runs from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days. The Park Street Art & Wine Faire is held each year on the last weekend in July.

This Week’s Happenings in the Park Street District: View Calendar

Classic Car Show 2011 The 18th Annual Park Street Classic Car Show takes place this week on Saturday, October 8, 2011. More than 400 classic vehicles will be on display in Alameda’s historic downtown district — Vintage Show Cars, Roadsters, Coupes, Hot Rods, Antique Muscle Cars, and more. Food and prizes will be available and DJs will be spinning oldies from the ’50s and the ’60s. The free event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tot Tank is celebrating their 2nd anniversary, August 26-28. They’re ringing in the new year with giveways, raffles, and vendor representatives. Tot Tank is an infant gear and juvenile products specialty store.
